Survey Officer Recruitment 2025 Work Details
The Enumerators will be conduct digital surveys in 40 villages or 10 Urban words using a designated mobile aap. Their work involves collecting data for two census projects: The 7th minor irrigation census and the 2nd census of water bodies. All field work will be supervised by district-level officer

Educational Qualification
10+2 Pass (CHSE/CBSE/ICSE) or Diploma in Engeeniring from a Government recognised Institution.
Language Requirements
Must be able to Read, Write and Speak both Odia and English.
Technical Requirements
Basic Computer Knowledge
Must own and Android smartphone with ar least android 10.0 OS 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage (ROM) and a 5000 mAH battery.

Salary
Enumerators under the Odisha district-wise Enumerator Recruitment 2025 will be paid per village or word surveyed. They will receive Rs. 900/- per village for the 7th minor irrigation census and 720/- for the 2nd census of water bodies. Additional allowances include 300/- per village as Patwari allowance (for the MI census) 750/- one-time mobile device allowance, and 165/- per day for training, No TA/DA will be provided. For 40 villages, the total estimated earning is around 78,045
Estimate Payment Breakdown (For 40 villages)
7th minor irrigation census : 900/- ×40 = 36,000/-
Patwari Allowance : 300/- × 40 = 12,000/-
2nd census of water bodies : 720/- × 40 = 28,000/-
Mobile Device allowance one-time : 750/-
Training allowance (3 days) : 165×3 = 495/-
Selection process
Scrutiny of applications based on eligibility criteria.
Preparation of merit list with weightage to Matric(40%) and +2/intermediate (60%) marks
The breaker preference given to candidates with higher educational qualifications.
Approval of provisional list by the District level sub-committee.
Final engagement order issued by Deputy Director (P &S), DPMU of the respective districts.
