SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed 12th Pass or it's equivalent education from a recognised Board/University.

Salary
Stenographer Grade C - Basic Pay Approximately 35,400/- with DA,HRA and other government benifits.
Stenographer Grade D - Basic Pay Approximately 25,500/- with other allowances.
Selection process
The selection process will be consist in the different stages to confirm the recruitment eligible and qualified candidates. The selection stages include -
1. Computer Based Test
2. Document Verification
A.
General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50 Questions and 50 Marks
B. General Awareness - 50 Questions and 50 Marks
C. English Language and Comprehension - 100 Questions and 100 Marks
Question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks
for each wrong answer in Computer Based Examination.
Skill Test Details
Stenographer Grade C
Dictation - 10 minutes at 100 words per minute
Transcription Time - English 40 minutes and Hindi 55 minutes.
Stenographer Grade D
Dictation - 10 minutes at 80 words per minute
Transcription Time - English 50 minutes and Hindi 60 minutes.
